Winch House Youth Program (WHYP)

We are currently developing a youth program for school aged children and applying for various funding to obtain a Youth Coordinator.

Vision:

To enable local youth to engage with their community through participation in youth activities and project initiatives.

We aim to provide opportunities and encouragement for the youth of Winchelsea and Districts to establish a program with positive activities, facilitating communication and mentoring support.

The benefit to the community will be a more positive relationship between the youth and adult population and a possible reduction in anti-social behaviour through positive role modelling and an increased sense of community.
